Kevin Lewis is a Halifax-based painter and Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University graduate who works as a scenic artist in the film industry. His first solo show, Excavations (Argyle Fine Art, 2006), reflected on three months spent in Rwanda. In 2007, Lewis presented nine large works in Don't Fall Apart On Me Tonight (FRED Gallery), a show with Montreal-based painter Jon Claytor. Lewis' most recent show Nostalgia Machine featured eight new paintings at Halifax's FRED Gallery in August, 2008.
